So, I know I said I would talk about being friends with Jesus tonight, but I desperately need sleep, so instead I will leave with some words by St. Theresa of Avila:

todo se pasa;
Dios no se muda,
la paciencia
todo lo alcanza.
Quien a Dios tiene,
nada le falta.
Solo Dios basta.

Which, of course, means:

Let nothing disturb you
Let nothing afright you
All things are passing
God never changes
Patient endurance obtains all it strives for
With God as you portion,
Nothing is wanting
Alone God suffices
