Today, I was reminded that a vocation is between one person and God. It doesn't matter how the rest of the world - parents, friends, aunts, uncles, hypothetical spouses, etc - feel about your vocation. The only thing you have to worry about is if it is what God wants and if it is the best path for you. So if you, like me, every worry how your vocation will affect others, stop worrying. God will take care of them, and all you have to do is follow Him.
