Today is the day of my surgery, so I won't actually get a chance to post anything during the actual day (I'm writing this at 12:30 a.m.)
So, I am pre-writing a post for you, because you would probably prefer to not see narcotic-influenced prayer blog posts.
Anyway, I'm taking another break from the meditations, and thought I would share with you the refrain of a song a little kid at my summer camp wrote.
The song in its entirety is a metaphor for going through cancer treatment, and the kid who wrote it was 12, so I was super impressed. Thought you might find it inspirational:
Keep your head up, keep your head up.
Keep your head above the water.
Keep your head up, keep your head up.
Keep your head above the water.
Don't drown, don't go down, just stay up above the water.
Life lessons from a 12-year-old.
I'm praying for you!
:)
